Traditional Block of the Month that is a 12 month series, and each month's pattern provides detailed instructions for making two ships or a border and compass. The patterns include the history behind each of the fabulous "Ladies of the Sea." Each ship is surrounded by a wreath of flowers from the ship's homeland, and the flowers are echoed in the beautiful borders. Each month's pattern also includes a "smooth sailing" section with tips that allow less experienced quilters to simplify the design. Instructions included for appliqué blocks, borders and setting. Quilt finishes at 87" x 87".
Kits - $19.95/block. Kits do not include the background fabric.
Complete Set Kits without Background - $215.46.
Patterns - $7.50/block. Complete Set - $90.
All of our blocks of the month are sold either as kits (which include pattern and fabrics) or as patterns only. Complete Kit Sets include a 10% discount. We guarantee we will supply you with any patterns you need to complete your block of the month quilt. In the case of quilts that are several years old, we may not have kits available.
