We may be able to take a few additional students for classes only for $20.00 additional fee per class.  If you are also interested in joining us for lunch, please call Ramona at 281 996-1756, ext. 1.

1.  Ramona’s Mystery Quilt: Join Detective Ramona Williams in the sewing room with a rotary cutter for a day and a half of intrigue and mystery as you piece together clues (and fabrics of your choosing) to create a beautiful mystery quilt.  You will uncover clues so by the end of this class you will piece together the solution and be well on your way to owning a beautiful throw-sized quilt.

Thurs. 9:30 AM-12:30 PM continuing at 1:30 PM-4:30 PM AND Sat. 9:30 AM-12:30 PM                       Cost:  $55.00 Mystery Quilt

Sue Garman’s Classes:

 1.  The Feathered Star: An Old Favorite:  Everyone loves feathered star blocks!  Sue will help you make perfectly pieced feathered stars-and give you options for setting one or more in a wall hanging or quilt.  In this all-day class, you will make great progress on what will surely become a favorite quilt!

Fri. 9:30 AM-12:30PM continuing at 1:30 PM-4:30 PM

Cost:  $45.00

2.  Tips & Techniques:  If there are parts of the quilt-making process that challenge or stump you…sign up for this class.  In it, Sue will share all of the tips and techniques that let her finish 20 or more quilts every year!  There is hardly a subject that she won’t cover, including:  notions, tools, perfect circles, tiny stems, choosing fabrics, selecting and modifying patterns, setting blocks, choosing borders, productivity tips, basting…you name it, and she will share how she does it…not only well, but easily and quickly!

Thurs. 1:30 PM-4:30 PM

Cost:  $26.50

3.  The Elissa: A Texas Tall Ship:  In this class, you will begin making a wonderful quilt that celebrates a part of Texas history.  Galveston’s Tall Ship, The Elissa, is set within a wreath of bluebonnets.  In the morning, you will start making the appliqué center-and in the afternoon, you will begin to work on setting the block on point and adding border upon border.  This lovely quilt will surely be one that becomes a family heirloom-one you made by learning appliqué and piecing from an expert!

Sat. 9:30 AM-12:30 PM continuing at 1:30 PM-4:30 PM

Cost:  $45.00
